Pairing was a Banana Mojave Pinstripe, het Monsoon male to a Classic, het Monsoon female.
Offspring Genetics: Classic, 66% possible het Monsoon (non-visual).
Currently a bit nervous (hasn’t shown any defensive behavior), which is very typical for young ball pythons that are still acclimating and learning their environment. With patient, calm, and consistent handling, he is expected to settle down and develop into a confident, manageable animal, great as a pet or a future breeding project.
Notes: Healthy, well-established, and feeding regularly. He has not been genetically tested for the Monsoon gene, but based on lineage, he is 66% possible het Monsoon. If he does prove out as het Monsoon in a breeding project, that would be a significant bonus for a breeder.
He’s currently feeding on frozen/thawed rat pups 1x per week.
